Matter
In MATTER, I explore the human form as living sculpture, collaborating with subjects to transform their bodies using clay, paint, and expressive movement. This process invites participants to engage deeply, experiencing the act of becoming art in real-time. Inspired by artists like Brie Ruais, who utilizes her body to shape clay sculptures, and Jess Miller, who models clay in front of her subjects, I aim to capture the fluid interplay between material and movement. Through this collaborative creation, we delve into themes of identity, transformation, and the ephemeral nature of existence, resulting in images that reflect the dynamic essence of humanity.
